Jaclyn’s research interests lie at the intersection of strategic management and technology policy. She focuses on competitive dynamics in the high tech and media industries, particularly emphasizing the regulatory environment and innovation management. Her work has been published in Communications & Strategies, Foreign Policy Digest, and Intellibridge Asia. Before pursuing a PhD at the University of Southern California, she was a Senior Researcher at Imaging Science & Information Systems, a global leader in disaster intelligence. In this position she worked with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), the Open Source Center (OSC), and the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA). Jaclyn has also worked as a marketing strategist and geopolitical analyst and previously sat on the young professionals board of the United Nations Association of the National Capitol Area. She holds an MA in Communications & Technology from Georgetown University and a BA in Economics from Sarah Lawrence College.
