Cyber Security Forum - Economics and Enterprise Risk Photo

In this day-long forum, CIOs and CISOs engaged in a moderated roundtable, panel discussions, and structured breakouts to address the pressing risks they see in their industry, economic motivations for security investments, and research and policy issues that the US government should address.

The forum explored the impact of information security on business and US economic competitiveness. All firms face information risks that threaten business continuity, intellectual property, and consumer confidence. Participants discussed the pressing risks they see in their industry, economic motivations for security investments, and research and policy issues that the US government should address.

The final report was released by Seators Lieberman and Collins on February 18, 2009.
