Tuck Career Insight Expeditions Kick Off in San Francisco
Patrick Wheeler, Program Manager On August 10th, 2016
This week, we’ll be providing updates from the Tuck Technology Career Insight Expedition from San Francisco.
The trip kicked off on Tuesday with a visit to the frog design SF office for a session on design thinking and a team building exercise. (Incoming MBA students were asked to create a new MBA experience for students.) The team at frog was hugely helpful in explaining why design and design thinking are so critical in today’s digital age. Beyond purely design, “design thinking” challenges the individual to change the way they view the world around them and has a deep emphasis on empathy when considering products, services, and process.
We’ll have more from the Tuck team in the Bay Area this week. On Wednesday the crew will spend time at both the Microsoft and Nerd Wallet offices.
