About Frank Curran:
Frank Curran is the Co-Founder and VP for CleanEnergyBlockchain Network, a proven clean energy peer-to-peer BlockChain sharing platform that is a North American partner of PowerLedger and IBM BlockChain. Frank found a new passion for Energy while working on the Boston Smart City Collaborative. Partnering with industry and city leaders, Frank leveraged his expertise in entrepreneurial technology and strategic alliances to bring together key stakeholders to discuss IOT, Energy, Microgrid and Smart City ideas, concepts and initiatives.
Frank has over 20 years of entrepreneurial, executive, and operations experience, working in mostly in OpenSource and leading edge technologies. Frank has held leadership roles with a number of companies, including early-stage startups such as100x, Fitplay, Affinnova, Message Machines, and BlackDuck Software. Prior to founding CleanEnergyBlockChainNetwork, Frank was the Global Director of Business Development and Alliances for Novell / SUSE, a global leader in Open Source Technologies.
Frank enjoys mentoring undergraduate and graduate students and is a frequent speaker at different University programs. Additionally, he is actively involved in a range of leading technology and entrepreneurial organizations, including the MIT Enterprise Forum, CleanTech Open, MIT Energy Club and Association of Strategic Alliances.
