About Derek Haoyang Li:

Derek is the Founder and Chief Education Technology Scientist of Squirrel Ai Learning, one of China’s top AI unicorns. He is a first-prize winner of the Chinese Mathematical Olympiad and entered Shanghai Jiaotong University’s esteemed Computer Science Experimental Program while still in high school.

A seasoned entrepreneur, Derek has co-founded two publicly-listed companies, including one valued at $200 million. He has driven Squirrel Ai to become a trailblazer in AI education, establishing significant collaborations with Carnegie Mellon University, the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Stanford Research Institute.
