Vibe Coding: Building with AI

Join CDS for an exciting Tuck-wide session on Vibe Coding—a hands-on, high-energy exploration of how to develop and deploy creative coding projects using AI. Led by two innovative CDS Fellows, Thamires Mouta T’25 and Hernan Ovalle T’25, this workshop will demystify the process of integrating AI tools into real-world applications, no matter your technical background.

Prior to attending this event, it is strongly suggested that you prepare by creating user accounts with the following tools/software:

1. Cursor (or similar) – Cursor is an AI-first code editor designed to help developers write, understand, and debug code faster and more efficiently. Cursor is much like a traditional code editor (like VS Code), but is supercharged with integrated AI capabilities, including a chat-based interface.
2. GitHub – GitHub is a web-based platform that provides hosting for software development version control using Git. It’s a place on the internet to store your code projects, track all changes over time, and collaborate with others on your projects.
3. ChatGPT EDU – If you have not done so already, please create your Tuck-sponsored ChatGPT EDU account to use during the session. TuckIT is able to help you gain access if you have not done so already.
