In a recent article in Stanford Social Innovation Review, CDS Faculty Director Alva Taylor was quoted in an article about how non-profit organizations can effectively plan and execute digital transformation. From the article:
“You first have to start with a great understanding of what you’re trying to do, what your goals are,” he says. “And then digital is the tool that expresses and executes your strategy.”
In essence, Professor Taylor explains that your digital presence is only as strong as your overall strategy. Digital serves to complement and enhance an organization’s strategy.
