What did you do prior to Tuck?

Operations and supply chain-focused consulting at Impendi Analytics.

What made you want to be part of the CDS fellows program? What is the best part about being involved with the center so far?

I first applied to CDS because of the alignment with my career goals: I wanted to pivot from consulting to tech. But as a CDS fellow I have gained a lot more. I have really enjoyed widening my horizon about all things related to tech and digital trends. The best part has been learning from my peers, Patrick, Carolyn, Professor Taylor, and other fellows has been the best part of CDS.

What other activities are/were you involved in at Tuck?

Center for PEVC, Emerging Markets Conference, Admitted Students Weekend, Women in Business

What has been the biggest growth moment at Tuck, where you stepped out of your comfort zone? What did you learn from that experience?

My biggest growth moment at Tuck was representing Tuck at the Kellogg Design Challenge. Our team had to create actual prototypes for environmentally sustainable designs for a popular skincare brand. I do not consider myself particularly design or creatively inclined, so I had to really push myself out of my comfort zone and figure out how I can bring value to my team.

What CDS learning opportunities or experiences have you learned the most from your time at Tuck so far?

CDS fellow presentations and our weekly discussions. I have been introduced to topics that I have never heard of and now I am doing my own research in these new fields of interest. Also, the connections with CDS alumni has been wonderful. They are warm, welcoming, extremely talented, and have been amazing resources.

What class at Tuck pushed your thinking the most?

PEVC Basics, Real Estate, and all Analytics courses- while these courses were really difficult, I was introduced to new ideas and concepts.

What books are you reading, podcasts are you listening to, or shows are you watching?

Podcasts: Today, Explained, It’s Been a Minute, Consider This, Land of the Giants, WSJ Tech News Briefing, Morning Brew.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to catch up with friends, organize small group dinners, and travel.

What advice do you have for Tuck students interested in tech- and digitally-focused career pathways?

Make use of the connections that you are presented with as part of the close-knit CDS and Tuck community. Tech and digitally-focused careers offer exciting opportunities that are not as well defined as some of the other tracks at Tuck. While this might feel unstructured, my advice would be to Lean In and truly find opportunities that excite and fulfill you.
